Position Summary: 
A vacancy exists in the above Community Mental Health Service for a highly motivated Mental Health clinician (Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Social Worker or Registered Nurse) with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. The Community Mental Health Team provides a high standard of mental health practice and interventions within a multidisciplinary team. The Community Mental Health Team provides mental health triage, acute care, case management and seven day follow up functions within the Community Mental Health setting.

The vacancy is open to Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens who hold a valid New Zealand passport, Australian permanent residents and those non-residents deemed by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship to be eligible to work in Australia only.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia
2. Current registration with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or eligibility for registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers.
3. Extensive demonstrated experience working within a Community Mental Health Position as part of a multidisciplinary health care team
4. Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality consumer care and services to support families and carers of people with mental illness
5. Commitment to provision of recovery-focused holistic mental health interventions.
6. Excellent computer, written, and verbal communication skills, and effective interpersonal and organisational skills, including using an electronic medical record system.
7. Demonstrated experience within a mental health acute care and/or triage setting
8. Current unrestricted NSW Drivers License
