Talentpath is excited to support this Catholic provider of Aged Care Services in their search for an experienced Consumer Admissions Coordinator. Our client is a national, well-established and leading not-for-profit with 10+ locations across South-East Queensland. With over 20 facility locations along the East coast, they offer quality residential, community and independent living services with a personal touch.

This Consumer Admissions Coordinator will manage three north Brisbane homes, providing caring, kind, personalised and seamless support to consumers, families and referrers. The position is vital in helping them to complete the relevant steps required when transitioning into Aged Care.

The Role
You will be responsible for:

  • Working collaboratively with the Consumer Engagement Manager and internal stakeholders to build positive relationships with consumers & their families, health professionals and referrals partners to build trust and confidence
  • Increasing capacity and maintaining high service occupancy
  • Building a pipeline of referrals and new consumer leads to meet shared targets and KPIs
  • Influencing consumer admission outcomes by passionately conveying their mission and value, and matching the right product or service to meet the consumers’ needs
  • Ability to be flexible when hosting consumer tours (including some weekends when required) to meet the needs of the consumer first and their availability
  • Completing all relevant compliance documentation and adhering to policies to admit new consumers into care.


The Person
You will be able to:

  • Show your experience in a residential aged care admissions, administration, or marketing support role
  • Previous experience working in nursing, aged care, community or hospital setting is desirable
  • Think creatively and thrive on helping people solve their challenges and exceeding consumer expectations
  • Communicate with empathy to people from various backgrounds and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Full driver’s license
  • Ability to undertake a National Criminal History Check.
