3 days per week [22.8 hours per week] at our Lutwyche office, with a flexible working from home option available.

About the role
Working with AMA Western Australia, Carers Western Australia and Carers Australia staff in the delivery of the Try Test and Learn Project
Assistance with planning and promoting vocational opportunities for carers.
Key Driver in completing & uploading monthly reports (DEX Reporting)
Assistance with preparing for weekly/fortnightly team meetings
Responsible for populating all database and career planning spreadsheets
Assisting Project Evaluators with Participant Surveys
Respond to expressions of interest and schedule intake meetings with applicants
Other duties as directed by Vocational Services Operations Manager
About you - do you have?
2+ years demonstrated experience in administrative role (project admin experience highly desirable)
Strong attention to detail, computer savvy, proactive and growth mindset, can work autonomously and make decisions
Excellent communication skills with an ability to respond to phone or face to face enquiries in an effective and professional manner
Experience with finance administration is highly desirable

The Organisation and program information

The Australian Medical Association of WA (AMAWA) leads a multi-disciplinary collaborative project with Carers WA, Carers Queensland and Carers Australia, with the overall aim to connect carers with new education and employment pathways/opportunities into sectors with workforce demand, such as disability care, home and community care, mental health support and aged care. This project is Try Test and Learn (Carers Connect to Education and Employment). Our collaborative project is due to be finalised on the 30 June 2021, with the aim for Carers Queensland to connect and assist 50 unpaid carers in Queensland to achieving their goals of working in the care industry. The project team consists of our Career Counsellor and Support Administrator, led by the Vocational Services Operations Manager.
