Arcare HR Queensland are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to contribute to a crucial part of Arcare’s HR function at Eight Mile Plains!

Temporary Full Time Position: 6 - 8-month contract
Start Date: ASAP
Arcare is now looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to work closely with our senior leaders in order to develop a HR strategy that closely supports the overall aim of Arcare QLD.
About the Role
The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for timely and accurate delivery of human resources services to Arcare residences and employees. Providing high level professional support to the HR Manager, the HR Business Partner is the ‘key point of contact’ for employees with regard to employment opportunities and employment relations at Arcare.
Responsibilities
Ensure that Arcare complies with relevant IR, EBA, EEO, OH&S and training obligations;
Ensure Employee details and Employment records are complete and up to date including monitoring of credentialing, police checks and evidence of right to work obligations;
Prepare HR metric data and operational reports as required;
Adhere to privacy and confidentiality with respect to the handling of sensitive information of Employees and organisational outcomes; and
Assist with preparation of employment contracts and correspondence to team member.
Skills and Experience
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar position (Aged Care experience is desirable)
IR/ER knowledge and experience
Experience in conducting performance management meetings
Knowledge of employment law and related experience in areas such as equal opportunity and workplace safety
Experience building rapport and relationships with stakeholders
Demonstrated skills in relating to a broad range of people with a high level of discretion.
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
Demonstrate willingness and ability to learn new skills
Proficiency in the use of software relevant to the position, e.g. Microsoft office suite
Current and valid Police Clearance and Statutory Declaration that does not preclude working in Aged Care;
Current Queensland Drivers Licence and own vehicle
