Your new team

  • We are a team working together to support a busy 15 theatre operating suite.
  • We support recovering patients and provide anaesthetic assistance across a range of specialties.

Your success in this role, will be in your ability to

  • Actively and positively contribute to a high functioning multidisciplinary Perioperative nursing team.
  • Provide anaesthetics assistance to patients undergoing all types of major surgery and the post-operative recovery of patients.
  • Respond appropriately to emergency and trauma caseload including cardiopulmonary arrest situations.
  • Ability to respond appropriately to emergency and trauma caseload including cardiopulmonary arrest situations.
  • Actively and positively contribute to a high functioning multidisciplinary Perioperative nursing team.

Your Contribution

  • Switched-on nurse who enjoys the challenges associated with working in a major metropolitan operating suite and is willing to work hard to provide excellent nursing care.
  • 4 years’ experience in Peri-anaesthetic and/or Recovery Nursing.
  • Post Graduate qualifications in Peri-anaesthetic and Recovery Nursing is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated high clinical standards in patient assessment.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Good technical proficiency and familiarity with a range of hemodynamic monitoring platforms.
