We are seeking applications from experienced Industrial Relations Professionals/Business Partners for a new role in the People and Culture team. As a Senior Business Partner, your role would be responsible and accountable for end to end processes on Industrial Relations (IR) matters, including coordinating and executing effective and efficient IR processes for all Southern Cross Care (SCC) services
About the role: Your duties will be, but not limited to,
- Industrial relations: Provide expert guidance and advice on HR and Employee Relations (ER)/IR matters including disputes, union consultation and Fair Work Commission resulting in reduced risk to SCC
- Employee relations: Provide high quality industrial and employee relations advice and manage and resolve complex employee relations issues
- Teamwork and culture: Work cohesively as part of the team to reach the team’s key outcomes and objectives required by SCC
- Stakeholder relationships: Responsible for the development and ongoing management of key internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Work Health and Safety (WHS): Comply with all SCC policies and procedures in WHS, Workers Compensation and Return to Work
What are we looking for:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources with IR/ER
- Demonstrated knowledge of Enterprise agreements, Awards and Legislation
- Attention to detail, with excellent time management skills to manage competing deadlines and priorities
- Ability to provide strategic advice, analyse risks, and possess problem-solving and judgment skills
- Exceptional negotiation, influencing and persuasion skills
- Be able to develop highly effective working relationships by building credibility, respect and rapport with stakeholders and the business
- Current drivers licence and an ability to travel within NSW/ACT and be away from home
- Advanced computer skills with demonstrated abilities in software programs
