We are currently seeking an experienced Kitchen Hand for our Fresh Fields hospitality services in Carlisle. This is a casual position with the view to become permanent part time.


To be successful in this position you will possess the following:

  • Experience working within a large scale production kitchen
  • Experience working in the Aged Care Industry
  • IDDSI guideline experience is desirable
  • Relevant work experience in a similar role (dishwashing, food preparation)
  • Ability to work as a team player with strong communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in a high pressure, physically demanding job
  • An understanding and ability to demonstrate food safe practices within a high risk processing operation
  • HACCP Certificate or willing to obtain
  • Hard working, dedicated and caring nature with the ability to build strong rapport within teams
  • Computer skills including competent documentation skills
  • Flexible working attitude with willingness to work as required across a range of shifts Monday - Friday
  • Current National Police Certificate or willing to obtain
  • Up to date flu vaccination or willingness to vaccinate
  • Full working rights in Australia
