About ‘The Boulevard’ at Chestnut Gardens, Monash Health


Monash Health is the largest public health service in Victoria, employing over 18,000 people across a range of specialities.


Chestnut Gardens, Doveton, is home to 100 high care residents and utilises the latest in care and design philosophies. Chestnut Gardens is built as a series of houses, each with its own décor.


Our residential care team at ‘The Boulevard’, operates a 60 bed unit in modern and inviting premises and prides itself on its commitment to caring for the elderly. Our aged care patients frequently experience diminished independence, and their lives can involve a lack of stimulation which we look to provide positive and high standard of care.


About The Role


We currently have both Ongoing (40 hours per fortnight) for a qualified Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to work across a rotating roster with shifts to be placed across Monday to Sunday predominantly working on a rotating roster, including AM, PM and Night Shift but still maintaining work-life balance.


Your job satisfaction will be drawn from making an important contribution to our elderly patients, helping them maximise their enjoyment and participation in life.

You Also Have:



  • Demonstrated experience within an high care residential environment

  • Awareness of ACFI requirements within assessment & documentation

  • Understanding of the new National Standards of Residential Care & of Aged Care Quality Standards

  • Flexibility & Team focus to delivering excellent care

  • Ability to work across a rotating roster (7 days, 24 hours)

  • Analytical ability to review current nursing practice and be open to change and innovation

  • Working rights in Australia

  • AHPRA Registration

  • Medication Endorsement
