Think Mobility is a privately owned company that sells, rents and services lifestyle and mobility aids to the general public, and to both Federal and State funded schemes. These include the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Department of Veterans Affairs, the Medical Aid Subsidy Scheme (MASS), Transition Care and Palliative Care programs as well as the aged care industry including nursing homes, rehabilitation centres and community care organisations.
To support the company’s ongoing growth and expansion, they are seeking a motivated and committed individual to join the team in the role of Storeperson. The role will be responsible for managing the inward and outward goods functions and ensuring warehouse safety; whilst working with the group supply chain team to manage inventory mix and value, warranty claims, and equipment maintenance. To succeed in the role, you will need to be able to respond quickly to the demands of the sales and supply chain teams, and work harmoniously with internal and external stakeholders.
Position Focus:
Receive goods and confirm delivery docket record is accurate;
Pick and dispatch stock in conjunction with the Think Mobility delivery team and product trial team;
Liaise with the local sales team and group supply chain to monitor stock to ensure minimum levels are adhered to;
Conduct the warehouse stock take;
Work to ensure orders are fulfilled and despatched accurately and in a timely manner;
Report and follow up warranty claims when stock is damaged or requires attention;
Maintain a safe and effective workplace (condition and maintenance of high-risk equipment) including but not limited to the warehouse and surrounding areas.
The Person:
Previous warehouse experience essential, with experience with an inventory management system preferred;
Accountable and delivers results;
High attention to detail, with strong service orientation;
Ability to build internal and external customer satisfaction and loyalty;
Positive mindset - can do attitude;
Proactive and safety focused.
