Are you looking to get away from the split shifts common to cooking in the hospitality sector?

Cooking for Residents in Aged Care provides you with a prime opportunity to move away from the dread of split shifts whilst still providing an opportunity to create special dining experiences for Residents. A renowned local treasure of the Oakey community, the staff of CWA House pride themselves on providing exceptional home cooked meals freshly prepared daily in their onsite commercial kitchen

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at CWA House. 

This position is responsible for preparing meals in line with the seasonal menu specifically designed for elderly people to meet their nutritional needs.

You must have experience preparing, cooking and presenting adequate and nutritional meals with a thorough knowledge of Food Safety regulations in a commercial setting. Experience in supervising others in a kitchen to provide a first class customer dining experience is a must!

With qualifications in safe food handling and hospitality (desired), the successful candidate must also have a current first aid certificate.
