This recruitment may be used to fill future positions via an eligibility list for permanent, full time, part time, temporary and casual positions.
This is a maternity relief position and should the permanent incumbent require an early return from maternity leave, this contract of employment will cease with two weeks notice. Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternity leave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Registered Nurse with advanced communication skills to work in this Aged Care consultancy role as part of the Supported Transitioning Care Team assisting to place inpatients requiring permanent placement in a Residential Aged Care Facility
What you'll be doing
The Registered Nurse is an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing nursing care to patients and clients of the health service; and leading, directing and supervising other nurses and care roles in the team, such as Assistants in Nursing and Enrolled Nurses, to support quality care for patients/clients.
To facilitate safe transfer of care for local health consumers who are inpatients based upon utilisation of the Transfer of Care Risk Assessment Tool.
