About the Role

You will help nursing staff in hospitals and other health care establishments with non-medical duties including cooking and/or preparing light refreshments of patients, restocking, and assisting generally as directed by nursing staff.

In a small, close knit team you will be well supported and your dedication will be seen and appreciated. You will be an integral member of the community and you’ll see not only the results of your care, but the appreciation of the community of the role you play in their health.

The small yet beautiful town of Tullamore in central western New South Wales is 200 kilometres north-west of Orange and 119 kilometres west of the major city of Dubbo, home to the famous Taronga Western Plains Zoo.

The Tullamore Multipurpose Service (MPS) is a 16-bed facility which includes residential aged care services.

The MPS has 24-hour emergency care and acute and sub-acute inpatient services which includes respite and palliative care.

A range of ambulatory, primary and community-based services are also run from the facility including primary and community health nursing, early childhood nursing, aged day care and aged and disability social support.
