About the role

The Physiotherapist Coordinator will lead and supervise a team of Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists who provide high quality person-centred Physiotherapy services aimed at supporting the aged and people with disabilities to remain independent within their home and community. This role will see you mentor and develop a high performing team and ensure the service targets are met.

If you are seeking a progression in your career this is a great community focused role at Grade 3 level.

Skills & experience

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Physiotherapy and current APHRA registration
  •  Previous experience providing professional/clinical supervision and practice development as defined by the relevant professional registration requirements.
  • Demonstrated skills in providing Physiotherapy service delivery to a diverse client group; including assessment and development of comprehensive treatment plans, manual handling, equipment prescription and report writing.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in utilising standardised assessment tools and outcome measures.
  • Knowledge of complex conditions that may impact people with disability, the aged and their carers. 
  • Knowledge and experience of various funding streams and service options for clients, including CHSP, NDIS, SWEP and Home Care Packages.
  • Proven experience in establishing and maintaining effective and professional relationships, building rapport and liaising with relevant stakeholders. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
