There is currently an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join the SVHA team located at our Bowen Hills office on a full time basis for a 12 month contract period.
The SVHA Shared Services division provides Accounts Payable, Financial Accounting and Payroll support to all of the SVHA divisions across New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland.
- Comprehensive knowledge of, and practical experience with accounts payable and purchasing activities;
- Fast and accurate data entry skills;
- Strong attention to detail and lateral thinking skills;
- Strong computer skills including an intermediate (or higher) understanding of Excel;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently communicate with suppliers and facility based staff.
- Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders;
- Processing high volume of invoices for Private Hospitals;
- Assigning general ledger codes to non-purchase order invoices;
- Monthly reconciliations of creditor statements to the creditors’ ledger.
