  • 2 Full time Permanent positions (one to commence immediately and one on 5/4/21)


An exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated physiotherapists to join the Monash Health Physiotherapy Gerontology Stream. These positions are supported by Grade 3 and 4 physiotherapists to provide excellent clinical care in the subacute setting to a gerontology caseload of with the setting of geriatric evaluation and management.

About The Roles


These roles have responsibility for the provision of physiotherapy services within a subacute setting to a geriatric evaluation and management caseload. The roles also support the supervision, learning and development of Grade 1 Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants and Students as well as contributing to quality activities. Working within both the ward setting and the Physiotherapy department, the roles will provide positive leadership to support the multi-disciplinary team at the Kingston Centre and the broader Monash Health Physiotherapy team while continuing to develop strong links between bed-based and Monash Health Community services.


About You


As a new or experienced Grade 2 Physiotherapist, you will have recent clinical experience in the care of the older person and in the subacute setting. You will have passion for providing excellent physiotherapy services and with that, have advanced clinical reasoning skills and highly developed interpersonal skills. You will have experience in clinical education, demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and a demonstrated commitment to best practice.

What You Need:



  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) or recognised equivalent degree

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) – Physiotherapy Board of Australia (practicing, no restrictions)

  • Member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association - Desired.
