JOB DESCRIPTION
Programmed Care are looking for an experienced Disability Support Worker based in Sans Souci Southern Sydney.
Our female client requires assistance with community access/companionship every Wednesday 10 AM -4 PM.
This position will suit applicants who live around the Southern Suburbs of Sydney, female applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.
What you need to have:
- Minimum 6 months of recent disability experience
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- Current drivers' licence, and reliable vehicle
- National Police Check (within 12 months)
- Cert III or IV in Disability, Community, Aged Care Support or Individual Support - This qualification is desirable but is not essential for this position
About you:
- Reliable and punctual
- Have a strong personality
- Have experience working with challenging behaviours, anxiety, depression & mental health
- Have a strong work ethic and has initiative
