About the Role:

Reporting to the CTO, the Onboarding / Training Specialist is primarily responsible for implementing customised software with first-time customers and to help facilitate the introduction of new functionalities for existing customers. Key is the effective development, delivery and evaluation of the software training.

Job Requirements:

Onboarding Support:
  • Onboard clients by their onboarding deadlines, ensuring the requisite understanding of their goals & objectives and translating those needs appropriately with the aim of maximising value from their software purchase
  • Report weekly on progress tracking key implementation milestones and customer satisfaction
  • Operate as key point of contact and/or Project Manager for clients during onboarding
  • Operate as subject matter and product expert
  • Provide client and market input into product development and sales & marketing departments
  • Find opportunities for additional service sales, e.g., extra training or forms development
  • Support the onboarding process with admin, client requests, setting up training
  • Promote a “customer first” environment at all times
  • Manage aspects of the provisioning process, including obtaining key client information and ensuring appropriate recording and disseminating to the technical team
  • Maintain a high level of process quality and consistency as well as an excellent relationship with the customer
  • Contribute to further developing the onboarding systems and processes
  • Work collaboratively with the team to evaluate, develop and refine the training strategy and materials
  • Efficiently administer client training progress
  • Prepare training related reports by collecting relevant statistics and data
  • Ensure all training activities are carried out within the allocated budget and timeframes
  • End user training - Deliver software training to new customers mainly remotely via video conference (Face to face training will be required from time to time including interstate travel when needed)
  • Use known education principles and stay up-to-date on new training methods and techniques
  • 2+ years’ experience in an operational role in disability, aged care or mental health services organisation
  • Demonstrated CRM/ERP knowledge and understanding
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation and analytical skills
  • Critical thinking and proven complex problem solving skills required
  • Customer first mentality including the ability to empathise and build rapport and customer loyalty
