About The Role

An opportunity has become available for an experienced and committed Pharmacy Technician with proven dispensing skills to work in the production area at our HPS Pharmacies - Coburg site. This unique site provides pharmacy services to correctional facilities in Victoria.

This permanent full time role will require you to work Monday to Friday within a span of hours between 10:30am - 7pm.

Your experience in providing a high level pharmacy service, accurate dispensing and efficient medication management are critical to this role. This position is available for immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medications in line with legal and professional requirements, under the direction of a Pharmacist
• Assisting the Pharmacist prepare medication lists to facilitate medication management
• Preparation of webster packs
• Perform quality assurance checks, and prepare medications for dispatch
• Other pharmacy related duties

You must have

• A can-do attitude and team focus
• Proven pharmacy dispensary experience
• Excellent communications skills
• A high level of attention to detail and precision in record keeping
• Ability to work autonomously, and remain motivated
• Demonstrated experience working in fast paced environment
• Understanding of the requirements and importance of adherence to process and procedure
• Reliability and accountability
• Previous experience with nursing home is highly regarded
