Allied Health Professionals Enterprise Agreement (VE9 > AF14 - depending on experience)

An exciting opportunity exists to join our dynamic and supportive Occupational Therapy team at West Gippsland Healthcare Group.
Our team is comprised of 11 Occupational Therapists and 6 Allied Health Assistants located in a purpose built Allied Health Building / Community Rehabilitation Centre.

This full time Grade 1 position involves rotations between acute inpatient units including medical and surgical units, and a rotation to the Community Allied Health Team / Aged Care. It also involves the provision of some outpatient services.

Our department encourages and supports professional development. Supervision and support are available to the successful applicant. 
This is an exciting opportunity to develop a range of skills and experience in a supported and dynamic environment. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Our preferred candidates will have:

  • Degree or Masters in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) – Occupational Therapy Board.
  • Membership of the Australian Occupational Therapy Association or equivalent.
  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
  • A high level of theoretical and practical clinical knowledge in Occupational Therapy practice.
  • Excellent communication (both verbal & written) skills.
  • The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

The administrative headquarters are located at West Gippsland Hospital in Warragul, approximately 100kms east of Melbourne.
