Employment Type: Full time / Part Time 7 day rotating roster / Temporary / Casual
Hours per week: Up to 38 Hours
Position Grade: Enrolled Nurse – Year 1 to 5
Salary: $58,022.57 to $63,047.37
Enterprise Agreement: Named NSW (non-declared) Affiliated Health Organisations’ Nurses Agreement 2017

Position Summary:
Several vacancies exist in the above unit for a highly motivated Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. Our progressive and innovative team offers development opportunities for our staff and a caring environment for the delivery of high quality patient centred care.

Xavier 8 North is a 32 bed mixed medical ward. At present Xavier 8 North has a diverse mix of specialties which primarily include Gastroenterology, Renal, Nephrology, Immunology, Infectious diseases, Drug & Alcohol, Clinical Pharmacology, Endocrinology, Rheumatology & Dermatology. Xavier 8 North also currently encompasses inpatient medical oncology cancer services.

Currently registered as an Enrolled Nurse (EN; Division 2) with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency.

Demonstrated ability to work within the multidisciplinary team.

Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.

Demonstrated computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system.

Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as an enrolled nurse.

Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads with in a complex environment.
