Our Health Service is seeking the services of skilled and motivated undergraduate students of nurses willing to join our amazing team in our Fever Clinic at Melton. The people we are looking for will be passionate about supporting our patients and community and practising patient-centred care.

As part of our team, we will support and help you develop your knowledge in infection control and skills in screening and swabbing. All staff will be provided with a thorough induction program including personal protective equipment and infection control training.

The role

A fixed-term position, up to 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 EFT), available and open to negotiation to match your study commitments.

The successful applicant will act as a clinical and professional resource person demonstrating a commitment to patient-centred care.

Applicants must have:

• Student AHPRA registration
• Current enrolment in a Bachelor of Nursing / Midwifery program as assessed by
• At least 12 months of successful course completion
• A fantastic attitude and dedication to the profession
• Excellent communication skills
• A good understanding of infection control

Djerriwarrh Health Services is a dynamic and rapidly expanding public health service providing Acute, Community, Maternity and Aged Care to the City of Melton and Shire of Moorabool in Melbourne's Western suburbs.
