Caregivers required to support Clients living in Baldivis (and surrounding suburbs)

Home Care Assistance, West Coast Perth is a small, locally run Organisation, providing care and services to older adults living at home.

Our Caregivers work in our Clients’ home, directly supported by the Client Care Team. This includes assisting with all aspects of activities of daily living including:

· Personal care and grooming

· Continence needs

· Dietary needs, including shopping, meal preparation and feeding

· Medication prompt and support

· Companionship, conversation and mental stimulation

· Appropriate exercise and physical activity

· Transportation services as required

· Domestic assistance

Job Requirements

We place great emphasis on matching our Caregivers to our Clients based on appropriate skills and experience as well as personality. A passion for providing care is really important to us, as is using your expertise and initiative to make care plans relevant and work for our clients.

· Certificate 3 in Aged Care/ Individual Support/ Community Support or equivalent level of

experience

· 2-3 years of experience caring for the elderly preferably in a community setting

· Current Police Clearance

· Current Australian Drivers License

· Own reliable, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle

· Current Manual Handling and First Aid certificate

Salary: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour

Part-time/ Casual hours: approx 15 per week
