APM - Wishart, NT

Health, Medical & Pharmaceutical
Source: uWorkin

Want to be part of change and the future of Aged Care in Australia, a future that ensures fair access to the optimal level of support. In these roles, available on full time or part time basis with hours that can be structured to suit you, you'll be part of a positive, cohesive group of experienced practitioners, applying your combined expertise to conduct assessments that keep your clients' needs central to the work that you do.

Uniquely, direct care won't be part of your day-to-day - instead, you'll apply your experience to an approved process that sees you meet with care recipients and:

  • Conduct desktop reviews of existing care documentation.
  • Conduct interviews with care receivers and other critical informants
  • Collaborate with other practitioners in your team to accurately complete assessment tools
  • Combine your findings to make an assessment of the appropriate classification for restorative care / reablement.

These opportunities will see you visiting Aged Care facilities across the Brisbane South. In South Brisbane you will be working form Port Lincoln down to Redland Bay then from Wacol across to Cleveland. Please note that there will some travel reimbursements for this position.

Why apply

  • A variety of roles, hours and locations available, with salary dependent on experience
  • You'll be part of the APM group of companies, a network of national and international health brands, offering an exciting path of career development for you to explore
  • Full, paid training provided and a strong support network to help you do your best

To be considered, you will need:

  • 5 years’ experience in aged care or a related area of health care
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy
  • Current unrestricted General Registration AHPRA
  • Demonstrated Australian aged care experience including working with people with dementia
  • Demonstrated experience conducting clinical assessments using a range of assessment tools

...and soft skills related to motivation, organisation and working independently and as part of a team.
