About the Opportunity

Surrounded by extensive parklands, Smithfield Aged Care offers it all. Only a short walking distance from the Munno Para Shopping Centre and easy access to public transport including the Smithfield train station, our location ensures ongoing engagement with the local community.

Home to 74 residents, our innovative design includes an internal shopping mall for that real sense of independence and community living. A coffee shop, hairdressing salon and chapel all support opportunities to socialise with friends and family.

We are actively seeking experienced & dedicated Registered Nurse's to join our team on a casual basis to cover planned and unplanned leave. 

About You

The successful applicants must have:

• Current Division 1 Nursing Registration with AHPRA 
• Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Registered Nurse in Aged Care is desirable
• A passion for aged care – flexible and empathetic
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and ACFI is desirable
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to lead by example and effectively manage a large, diverse team
• Availability to commit to permanent & full-time shifts is essential
