The Opportunity
Lead the development of the annual strategic and marketing plans, including allocating and managing spend on marketing activities, focused on delivering accelerated growth within Aged Care, Primary Care, Home Care, Private Nursing Services and NDIS sector. Execute on marketing campaigns and initiatives aimed at raising S+N profile as thought leaders and partners in wound care.
The Key Focus Areas of the Role
- Develop marketing strategy for Community channel, focused on go to market strategy by Indication / Customer segments
- Establish, drive and implement annual and long-term strategy for sustainable YoY growth
- Segmentation of Customers – groups accompanied by value proposition that delivers value-based outcomes
- Develop product portfolio value propositions and field execution plans to fit with the commercial strategy for each segment
- Develop the business cases to launch new products to market, partnering with regional and global stakeholders, conducting pre-launch activities to determine brand positioning, set marketing goals, and complete financials.
- Development of marketing, sales acceleration/incentive strategies to target market opportunities and overcome competitive risks to ensure community channel sales targets are achieved.
- Management of marketing activities and budgets within the Community Channel.
- Analyse and understand both market and S+N sales trends, providing both insights and recommendations based on this data
- Develop marketing strategy and materials to communicate key product/market messages to Community Channel Sales Executives, Clinical Educators and Business Development Executives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications
- Minimum experience of 5 years in a Product Management/ Marketing, ideally in medical devices or aged care sector.
- Marketing strategy, campaign planning and execution
- Understanding of the Aged Care, Community and Primary Care Market
- Understanding of funding pathways and health policy
- Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to build a commercial strategy with tactical plans.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills
- Solid knowledge of marketing concepts and principles
- Good problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills
- Analytical abilities –analyse data, observe trends, and report and evaluate the success of campaigns
- A valid driver’s license
