The role reports to the Manager Residential Facility (Canning Lodge) and will be responsible for performing assessments, planning and implementation of individual-based exercises and pain-management programme to aged care residents. The successful applicant will be assessing and evaluating the physical and functional mobility of residents and providing programmes and interventions specific to their needs, goals, abilities and preferences (including mobility equipment prescription).

• $72,202 - $75,271 per annum pro rata + 10.5% super

Applicants will have a tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy combined with a minimum of 1-2 years' experience working in an Aged Care environment, as well as a current satisfactory National Police Clearance. The right applicant for the role will have a genuine interest in working with the elderly and a strong understanding of the requirements entailed in providing physiotherapy services to the elderly. They will have the desire to be a collaborative team member and have effective time management skills and well-developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. The successful applicant will have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills and the ability to develop a person-centred approach to care delivery.
