  • Child & Family Services - Family support programs and Childcare Centre
  • Aged Care - Home Care Services

The Corporate Services division comprises of:

  • People, Culture and Business Services
  • Information Technology

  • Quality and Business Improvement

The Manager Quality and Business Improvement is expected to:

  • Provide management oversight and responsibility for quality and business improvement support to the business to achieve its strategic objectives. This includes Quality, Risk, Governance, tender writing and working across the business on process improvement and business development initiatives and opportunities.
  • Act and behave with integrity and in accordance with the organisation’s code of conduct and values.
Primary responsibilities:
  • Manage the day to day operations of the Quality and Business Improvement department, it’s people and resources.
  • Implement the strategy as it aligns to the Quality and Business Improvement department and ensure the structure and processes meet the strategic, financial and cultural needs of the organisation.
  • Monitor the organisation’s compliance with quality standards, legislative and contractual obligations, and its risk management system.
  • Ensure that the organisation is supported and guided by effective policies, procedures and frameworks.
  • Monitor opportunities to further position the organisation through effective service delivery and coordinate the response to those opportunities.
  • Create and sustain a culture of innovation and enablement, underpinned by and expressing the values and philosophy of the organisation.

Reporting to the General Manager, Corporate Services, the person we are seeking will be suitably qualified and will be able to work across a range of disciplines including organisational governance, quality and risk together with the ability to collaborate with key internal stakeholders to produce professional tender submissions and assist service delivery managers to identify new business opportunities and review existing programs and processes. Sound financial and business acumen is essential in this role.

You will function as a senior manager of the management team of UCWB.
