LIFESTYLE ASSISTANT | ARCARE Glenhaven
This role is suitable for a creative Lifestyle Assistant who has a passion for lifestyle, who can run group activities whilst also assisting with personal care of clients if required. Come and spend time with our clients in designing and facilitating amazing and creative life experiences. You will be responsible for leading our carers and volunteer team, to lead them in providing quality personal, social, and emotional care and support to clients in accordance with Arcare's Values. You will be responsible for creating and ensuring that lifestyle programs are run according to the changing needs of our clients.
ACARE Glenhaven creates a stylish backdrop for first-class comforts and beautiful private suites to cater for 120 residents. Arcare is the largest private provider of aged care nationally, excelling in staff education and development, innovation in care and a supportive team environment with opportunities for internal promotion as the company expands in NSW. Arcare currently have residences throughout Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

Skills & Experience
- Current Police Check or willing to obtain
- Certificate III/IV Aged Care/Individual Support/ Leisure & Lifestyle or equivalent
- Experience in Aged Care/Health Care
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in the development, implementation, and evaluation of innovative lifestyle events
- Ability to involve community, relatives, team members and volunteers
- Develop strategies to increase client participation
- Ensure all events run smoothly and to budget while meeting expectation of clients
- The capacity to work well autonomously and be a team player
- A pro-active and energetic self-starter with a strong customer service focus
