Deliver excellence in aged care and support the Residential Manager to manage and motivate an established clinical team providing high quality care.

We currently have opportunities for two experienced Deputy Residential Managers to join our teams at:

  • Charles O’Neill, Mayfield West (80 beds), and
  • St John’s Villa, New Lambton (48 beds).

We are looking for passionate, motivated and hands-on clinical experts with excellent leadership and communication skills to pursue a unique career opportunity with Catholic Healthcare. As one of our Deputy Residential Managers, you will act as the clinical lead to ensure the delivery of holistic clinical and person-centred care for our residents.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Developing and leading the clinical and care staff, focusing on a culture of continuous improvement and quality
  • Ensuring the home meets and exceeds the Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Ensuring high quality resident care is consistently delivered throughout the homes to all residents including updating of care plans, wound reviews and medication overview.

On offer is a supportive, diverse, rewarding role that is both hands on and has key leadership functions. To be successful for this role, you will have:

  • Authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Proven experience as a Clinical Care Manager or Residential Manager
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the new Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and promote a positive work environment
  • Must be able to provide evidence of a 2020 Flu Vaccination
