Our two beautiful and award winning villages located in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney are seeking a Maintenance Officer to join our dynamic team on a Permanent Part-time basis. The primary purpose of this role is to provide general handyman skills and maintain scheduled maintenance duties.

You will be required to support our villages located in Kogarah and Maroubra (days are flexible based on workload at each site).

You will be responsible for:

  • Setting up of rooms and equipment, adhering to OH&S guidelines
  • Timely reporting
  • Equipment and plant monitoring
  • Coordination of the Maintenance program
  • Preventative and corrective maintenance duties across the home
  • General handyman maintenance
  • Coordination of service contractors
  • Management of scheduled maintenance duties

Successful candidates possess the following:

  • Current police clearance
  • Occupational Health and Safety knowledge
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and manage own time
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional Maintenance / Handyperson skills
  • Must have your own Car and a valid drivers licence
  • Previous experience within an Aged Care home will be highly regarded
