About ELMHS

ELMHS provides a range of mental health services to pregnant mothers, infants, children and adolescents and their families within the Southern Region.

The organisational and clinical model has been developed to provide mental health care that is flexible and responsive to the individual and developmental needs of the perinatal to youth populations and their families. As such, this model will support the provision of integrated mental health care for young people, guided by consistent, service-wide protocols and principles of care.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Administration Support Officer to join our team at Early in Life Mental Health Service (ELMHS), Pakenham.

Your need for variety and to be busy will make this the ideal role for you. This role will give you the opportunity to provide exceptional front line customer service to our clients and support the various teams and sites within Early in Life Mental Health Service. You will work with teams of busy mental health professionals to provide administration support using a wide range of systems and databases, including registering and maintaining client information.

  • Providing excellent Customer Service to clients, staff and other stakeholders
  • Supporting the Information Management needs of the Service including data entry and health information management
  • Completing Operational Tasks to support the day-to-day operations of the Service

About You

You are a proactive and experienced healthcare administrator who enjoys working in a fast paced environment. Working in a hospital environment doesn’t faze you and you are able to maintain and demonstrate integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence.

You have:

  • Extensive administrative experience (experience in a mental health setting is desirable)
  • Friendly and helpful customer service and communication skills
  • Proven organisational skills and can work autonomously
  • Demonstrable ability to manage a range of administration responsibilities across a number of areas
  • A quality focus whilst ensuring work is completed within the required timeframes
  • Ability to travel to all Monash Health Sites
  • standards in thoroughness, accuracy and speed

Selection Criteria
Minimum of 2 years administrative experience

Intermediate knowledge in computer software applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Knowledge of iPM & mental health data software (CMI)
