The Opportunity

Are you a highly motivated and experienced Marketing and Communications Manager with a strong interest in Healthcare?

St Vincent’s Clinic is looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to manage and lead their marketing and communications program. The objectives of the role are to build brand awareness and raise the profile of the Clinic and its two charities, Open Support and St Vincent’s Clinic Foundation, both externally and internally. All marketing and communication activities are to be handled by this role.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement strategies to raise the profile of the St Vincent’s Clinic and the services provided.
  • Develop and implement a strategy to build awareness and raise the profile of St Vincent’s Clinic Foundation and Open Support, as well as to assist in growing our charities donor-base.
  • Work with ED SVC to coordinate and manage special marketing / communication events, projects and publications.
  • Plan and execute content production in liaison with vendors (video, infographic, visuals, web articles, etc.).
  • Manage the content of websites and social media channels.
  • Produce regular eDMs.
  • Prepare and develop appropriate marketing materials.
  • Liaise and coordinate with Fundraising manager and support fundraising efforts, including driving donor engagement and donation activities.
  • Liaise and co-ordinate with other comms teams throughout the SVHA group.

The Skills and Experience Required

  • 5 + years’ experience in marketing and communications.
  • Demonstrated experience in content development including journalistic interviewing techniques and the ability to source news opportunities.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Experience in managing digital platforms.
  • Experience in supporting fundraising objectives / initiatives.
  • An ability and willingness to promote the Catholic identity of SVHA and to work within the SVHA Code of Conduct and code of ethical standards for Catholic health providers.
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.

Essential requirements

  • In accordance with guidelines set by NSW Health, all SVPHS employees are required to have up to date vaccinations before commencement. It is encouraged that you ensure your vaccinations are current ahead of time as you may be requested to provide documentation at interview stage.
  • A National Criminal History Check will be conducted as part of the selection process.
