Are you a passionate and community-minded nurse leader looking for an exciting new challenge?

We are currently looking for an experienced nurse manager to support our medicum sized nursing team who deliver community nursing services, keeping our community of clients safe, and in their own homes. Our nursing team provide in home and post-acute care for clients, ranging from paediatrics to the elderly. This role provides coordination and management of the In Home Nursing Services Team including staff and budget management, in consultation with the Regional Business Manager (RBM).

The position will manage and oversee the Clinical practice of the Nurses, coordination of rosters and manage relationship with referrers. You will facilitate a high quality service provision that is responsive to community needs and to ensure optimal outcomes for all clients.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • The ability to effectively plan, organise and manage own time as well as set priorities in order to achieve targets
  • A Division 1 Nursing (Registered Nurse) with current registration with APHRA
  • Moderate to extensive experience in Community Nursing
  • Strong people management skills and be a true leader as coach
  • The ability to liaise across the full spectrum of health and welfare services
  • An understanding of policies and practices applicable to the work performed by supervised employees
  • Extensive knowledge of DVA, HITH, PAC TCP and TAC referrals.
