JOB DESCRIPTION

About the role

The Intake Officer is responsible for the intake administration for new clients. You will be coordinating client assessments and developing strategies to address vacancies and responses to changes in program numbers. A high level of attention to detail and data accuracy is required to maintain data integrity.

What you bring

  • Experience in the aged and disability/community sector;
  • Experience with data entry; referral management, portals and other referral media;
  • A current NT working with children check (OCHRE card) is highly desirable;
  • Well-developed customer service skills;
  • Understanding of program targets and guidelines, reporting requirements and processes to comply with them;
  • Demonstrated working experience with meeting operational targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written;
  • Strong MS Office skills with the ability to learn new systems and adapt to a variety of client management systems;
  • Demonstrated experience working in an office team environment and the ability to adapt to change
