About the role

As a Registered Nurse with Calvary community Care, you will provide skilled nursing services to our clients in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Working independently and interdependently, assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions and delegation of care to Enrolled Nurses and Support Workers within program, state/territory and CCC guidelines. The Registered Nurse provides evidence-based nursing care to people of all ages and cultural groups, including individuals, families and communities.

This role is required to travel to visit our clients across the North West Coast (Devonport to Burnie).

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team This role will work four days per week, working 6 hours per day in the North West Coast.

What you bring

  • Registered Nurse with current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (mandatory)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing aged care
  • Commitment to contemporary aged care practice
  • Ability to support and lead a multi-disciplinary team
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in assessment and care planning of the older person
  • Experience in a clinical leadership role with the ability to manage day to day clinical issues
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and manage day to day activities in an efficient manner
  • Demonstrated computer literacy
