    Maintenance Leading Hand

    Kyabram District Health Service are seeking a Maintenance Leading hand to join our Engineering Services Team. The successful applicant will provide quality consumer centred care in the delivery of building, plant and equipment maintenance and gardening services within the hospital and provide direction to maintenance team and contractors towards coordinating timely completion of maintenance work orders via computer maintenance management system.

    It is essential that you have demonstrated competency in general maintenance, excellent communication skills, knowledge of safe work practice and a willingness to learn new tasks. As part of the role you will be required to participate in an after hours ‘On Call' roster. You must hold a current drivers licence and be able and licenced to drive a manual vehicle.

    Ideally you will have previous maintenance experience in a healthcare setting, and a trade background will be highly regarded. As will any experience in team leading, trouble shooting and understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC, etc.

      Responsibilities will include reviewing existing workflow processes, monitor and control work orders to achieve KPI's, induct and manage contractors when on site, support business process change via systems and technology. As a member of the Facilities Team, the appointee will contribute to the overall performance of the team consistent with Kyabram District Health Service Purpose and Values.
