To ensure the most effective and continuous care, we require our Disability support Workers to be dedicated, reliable and flexible.
We look for:
A fantastic attitude and genuine interest in helping others
Experience or Ability to deal with clients with Mental Health and Behavioral issues.
Experience in various outdoor pursuits and activities
A practical understanding of hygiene assistance and commitment of care
Enjoyment in social activities, and one-on-one engagement
Understanding of physical limitations and a safe, sensible approach
Creativity, enthusiasm, sensitivity and emotional stability
Strong communication and organisational skills - able to manage your time and support clients to do the same in an everyday capacity.
Qualifications required:
Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Community Services or equivalent
Valid and current working with children check.
A current National Police Certificate
Open Victorian Driver Licence and your own, reliable vehicle (desired)
Physically capable of meeting the requirements of the role
Current First aid Certificate
Smart Phone and internet access.
The Role:
As a Care Worker with Noble Care Services you will be required to provide support including:
Personal Care: Showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
Domestic Assistance: Cooking, household cleaning and laundry
Social support/Transportation: Transport to medical appointments, grocery shopping and social activities
