About the role:

Transportation of stores, pharmacy, Equipment and linen between Walgett and Dubbo including deliveries to Lightning Ridge and Collarenebri. Working as part of a team to provide a high quality and caring environment for our patients, clients and co-workers.

Where you’ll be working:
Walgett is located on the Namoi River near its junction with the Barwon River in northern New South Wales, 280 kilometres north of Dubbo, home to the famous Taronga Western Plains Zoo.

Walgett Multipurpose Service (MPS) was included in the State’s MPS Redevelopment Program and a brand new 24-hour Emergency Department was opened in 2016. The MPS also has residential aged care, outpatient services including renal dialysis and a range of primary and community health services.

Walgett has an older than state average population and a higher than state average Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population making it an interesting and unique place to work.
