About the role
The Mental Health Program is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Mental Health professional to take on the role of Clinical Nurse Consultant for a period of 10 months (secondment) start date negotiable.


This is a relatively new position, providing an exciting opportunity for a qualified Registered Psychiatric Nurse to become a Clinical Nurse Consultant, who will be employed Ward E located at Monash Hospital, in Berwick. The successful applicant will work in collaboration with the Nurse Manager and Nurse Educator, to contribute towards further developing and enhancing our specialist nursing workforce by providing mentoring and coaching, with a focus on adult bed-based nursing development to address priority issues on the wards which are related to vulnerable consumers presenting with complex care needs.


The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent time management, able to work independently, organisational skills, ability to multi-task; alongside exceptional interpersonal and I.T. capabilities.
