The Role:

At Kimberly-Clark we have a great opportunity for a relationship driven Account Manager to join the Aged Care team. Reporting to the National Field Manager this position will manage an established portfolio of key accounts located within the Newcastle region.

The Account Manager will utilize their highly developed communication and presentation skills to train and advise key influencers and purchasers within residential care, community and hospital facilities about Depend® and Poise® products.

The role will suit an individual who has a willingness to develop their skill set in sales and utilise their healthcare or medical background to grow their career helping facilities, staff & individuals dealing with continence. A person who has a strong ability to successfully build collaborative working relationships with their customers within Aged Care & the wider community will be successful in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve agreed targets by generating sales from new and existing accounts in Aged Care, Hospital and Community services
  • Contact major end purchasers regularly to ensure maximum penetration of Kimberly-Clark’s products
  • Promote, maintain and develop business within the territory
  • Establish and maintain accurate customer records through the use of CRM tools
  • Provide feedback on market intelligence, products, customers and new business opportunities to assist tactical and strategic marketing plans which support business strategies
  • Through the use of strategic negotiation and excellent customer service skills you will ensure Aged Care, Hospital, Community and non-clinical staff see you as their indispensable partner

Skills & Experience:

  • A Nursing or Healthcare background is highly desirable
  • Proven sales experience working with the Aged Care sector, or experience gained as an Account Manager or Territory sales representative within the Medical/Healthcare field
  • You have excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
  • An ability to work autonomously with excellent time management capability
