    We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Business Analyst to join our ICT team at the Central Office located in Glenside, SA. 

    About the role

    The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for working across the portfolio of Southern Cross Care (SCC). Reporting to the Manager, Business Systems, the role will focus on engaging with the business to identify current practices, future requirements, system support, business intelligence reporting, and process improvement opportunities.

    This role will perform a pivotal role enabling the success of Southern Cross Care to identify and prioritise Corporate change and improvement initiatives across all of the business.

    The role will identify and assess stakeholder needs, required level of support and best approach to engage strategically achieving project goals and objectives. It will also support business as usual activities including reporting, remediation and support on an ad-hoc basis as required.

    The Senior Business Analyst will develop strong relationships with all parts of the business taking a proactive approach to ensuring business needs are understood, documented and supporting services are communicated and maintained. 

    About you

    Your highly proficient organisational skills together with your attention to detail will enable you to work autonomously and prioritise accordingly. Your excellent communication skills will see you liaise effectively throughout the organisation, maintaining a high level of business acumen.

    You will be required to have a Bachelor degree or similar in Business Analysis, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business. Management as well as 8+ year’s professional experience in business analysis roles. IIBA Certification in the application of BABOK is desirable.

    The skills and experience required for this role include:

    • Requirements elicitation, documentation, analysis, management and communication.
    • Business problem assessment and validation experience, ideally having experience working on RFQ/ RFT/ EOI/ RFI Requirements collation and presentation.
    • Process mapping of ‘current’ and ‘future’ states of the business environment..
    • Solution design, assessment and validation in consultation with business managers, stakeholders, and technical specialists and vendors.
    • Assisting the business to identify the organisational impact of change, including training requirements.
    • Participation in planning for data cleansing, migration and integration with legacy systems.
    • Development of reporting solutions and dashboards using business intelligence reporting tools.
