Right now we’re looking for a Active Ageing Volunteer's to join our team at John Paul II Village Residential Care. this home offers high quality residential care services, and embraces a healthy ageing philosophy to support residents in being Better for life.

About The Role

If you are interested in promoting physical activity and improving the quality of life for older people, our fitness coordinators can give you the resources and expertise required to become an Active Ageing Volunteer.

The role will support people to participate in walking groups and other fitness activities on Tuesday and/or Thursdays between 10am and 3pm.

This position would best suit those with clear communication skills, a passion for healthy ageing, patience and empathy.

All volunteers require a police certificate for the purposes of Aged Care and evidence of the 2020 influenza vaccination.
