ACFI Co-ordinator


Residential Aged Care facilities 
Permanent Part Time
(32 hrs per fortnight) 



We are seeking an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join our professional team as the ACFI Co-ordinator to constantly review and assess residents’ capabilities to maximise ACFI funding. This permanent part time position is available for an immediate start, with flexible working days between Monday to Friday. The successful applicant will be responsible for submitting timely and accurate ACFI claims via Medicare, provide education to the team around ACFI, participate in Person Centred Care plan meetings, weekly ACFI meetings and monthly Provider Assist meetings. Training will be provided for the successful applicant if needed.



Key Selection Criteria include:



Essential:



  • Enrolled Nurse with current Nurses Board of Victoria registration

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of aged care accreditation standards and the ACFI resident appraisal and classification process or willing to undertake training to learn

  • Sound understanding of the importance of maximising ACFI and benefits this provides residents

  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and delivery of a high customer service standards

  • Strong computer skills and experience with relevant aged-care related computer software programs

  • Have a positive, can do attitude that reflects the values of WHCG – kindness, respect, integrity, courage and learning
