Facility Manager | Fixed Term Contract - 8 months Parental Leave Cover | Full time hours at Newman's on the Park, Templestowe, Victoria

The location

Newmans on the Park is in Templestowe, just 17km northeast of Melbourne. With close proximity to major shopping centres, and staff parking onsite, it’s a highly convenient place to work.


Surrounded by homely comforts and natural bushland gardens, our 108 bed Newmans on the Park facility is a welcoming place for our residents to live. With a warm country feel, Newmans brings people together in a close-knit community that feels more like a family. On balmy nights, many head to the courtyard for cheese, wine and a good chat, while our regular mix of social events and quiet one-on-one time ensures Newmans always feels cosy and connected.


The Job

Your role will see you leading the facility, managing a team of dedicated care staff and providing a high level of clinical expertise in line with the aged care standards. By using your leadership and clinical skills, you’ll deliver excellent, personalised care, and foster a fun, nurturing environment to ensure positive outcomes are achieved for residents, their family and staff. 


You bring: at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, a current AHPRA registration, outstanding management capability, fabulous communication and team work skills and solid computer skills. You will be passionate about making a difference through leading, clinical standards, motivating and inspiring our valued team of care staff, supporting residents and sharing our positivity and genuine interest in delivering excellent care to our residents.
