An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Support Nurse to join the Clinical Nursing Education team working within the Continuing Care Division.

This part time limited tenure (16 hours a week) Clinical Support Nurse role is pivotal to the support of nursing staff primarily within Ward 9, Ward 10, Ward 11 and Ward 12 clinical areas at Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital, with some support to other areas as required. This role works closely with Clinical Nurse Educators and Education Coordinators within the Continuing Care Division in anticipating and responding to the developmental needs of all nursing staff in pursuit of quality patient care; primarily within acute medical, aged care, geriatric evaluation and management, dementia, orthopaedic and neurology rehabilitation clinical areas.

This exciting opportunity is open to Registered Nurses with extensive nursing experience in any of the following: acute medical, aged care, geriatric evaluation and management, dementia, orthopaedic and neurology rehabilitation clinical areas.

A post graduate qualification in nursing or education and/or previous experience in a nursing education role will be highly regarded.
