About the Role

The Events Producer supports the Public Affairs and Communication team in delivering a wide range of high-quality, strategically-aligned events for internal and external audiences.

The Events Producer is responsible for the entire event life cycle, including research, design, planning, marketing, coordination, and evaluation, ensuring a seamless experience for all involved.

Working collaboratively across the organisation and with our partners, the Events Producer develops and coordinates an events schedule for the organisation, ensuring there is a clear, sustainable program of Monash Health events. These events include employee forums, days of significance such as International Women’s Day, VIP visits, and larger events such as our Length of Service Awards and Annual General Meeting.

As part of an integrated communications unit, this role also assists across a broad range of areas, including web, digital/multimedia, brand management and internal communications.

Please note: At present, the vast majority of Monash Health events are run virtually. Virtual events are likely to remain a significant portion of the event program for the foreseeable future.

About You

You hold relevant qualifications in communications, event management or similar, supported by strong technical expertise in events, and have a track record of success in implementing internal and external events to effectively engage stakeholders.

Your personal style enables you to build rapport, credibility and trust quickly and you are adept at managing stakeholders, issues and reputation.

A calm and collected operator, you are comfortable working in environments of constant change, high scrutiny and high demand.

You are known for developing and executing creative, results-driven events, aligned with tangible business objectives.
