Right now we're looking for an experienced Personal Carer to join our Residential Care team at Onkaparinga Lodge located in Huntfield Heights.

About The Role

Working collaboratively with our nursing team, you will provide high-quality personal care to our clients based on their individual needs. This includes assisting them with daily life tasks, personal care and mobility.

You will work with your colleagues to develop and deliver person-centered care plans that focus on healthy and active ageing, and maximizing quality of life for each and every client.

You Will Have

About you

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Certificate III in Aged Care
• Strong team orientation and the desire to serve
• Highly effective communication skills
• Previous experience working with residents with dementia will be highly regarded.
  

Equally comfortable with direction and autonomy, you display initiative, integrity and a superior work ethic plus impressive organisation, multi-tasking and most importantly; relationship-building skills.

All Southern Cross Care employees also require a current National Police Certificate for the Purpose of Aged Care.
