Relevant training for specific clients
Cert 111 or IV in Aged Care/Disability or relevant experience required

Are you an experienced Disability Support Worker looking to step into a rewarding role that allows you to combine your professional skill and passion for patient care?

An exciting opportunity has become available for suitable candidates to provide individualised care and support to clients in our residential house and Attendant Care Service team.

As a Disability Support Worker your responsibilities will include:

Providing personal care such as showering, dressing and grooming to patients
Assist with provision of medication
Assist with domestic tasks such as cooking, household cleaning and laundry
Provide social and transportation support including driving patients to medical appointments and assisting with grocery shopping

Candidate must be able to work varied shifts over a 24 hour period, 7 days per week with varying shift hours.

Healthscope Independence Services (HIS) is a specialist of unique accommodation, attendant care and in-home services to individuals with acquired brain injuries, disabilities, complex conditions and those who have left hospital and require additional support at home.

The accommodation we provide promotes independence, working towards clients achieving their short and long term goals.

At Healthscope Independence Services, all our disability support works are carefully selected and recruited based on the specific requirements of our individual clients.

Our accommodation provides long-term, short term, transitional and respite options in metropolitan Melbourne, regional Victoria, New South Wales and the Northern Territory.

Selection Criteria:
Certificate III or IV in Community Services /Disability/Aged Care or Experience working in the disability sector
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
Current State/Territory Driver’s License

All candidates from Northern Territory must have current Working with Children’s Check

All candidates should be up to date with relevant Vaccinations/Immunisations: (Hep A & Hep B).
