Position overview

The Deputy Human Resources (HR) Manager provides high level support and advice to the HR Manager on all human resources related aspects, including the development, design and implementation of people management practices. The Deputy HR Manager assists the HR Manager in the management of complex staffing issues and in the delivery of high quality, robust and flexible HR services to staff, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the HR Office.

The Deputy HR Manager supervises HR team, overseeing the day-to-day provision of high-quality, professional HR advice and support to staff, building professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders and supporting staff to achieve excellence. The Deputy HR Manager assists the HR Manager in the development and sharing of knowledge at local level and represents the area in various University-wide HR initiatives. The Deputy HR Manager is also responsible for the accuracy and integrity of HR data.
