Role: Manager, CVMS Business Operations, COVID-vac PMO (Role until - 30 June 2021)

Position Summary: 

The COVID-vac group is responsible for managing and coordinating the roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccination to the state of Victoria. Operating as a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, the group will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver an effective and efficient immunisation campaign.

The CVMS Business Operations Manager will lead a team of functional and technical experts to run and enhance the Covid Vaccine Management System. This system will manage the supply, distribution, registration and administration of the vaccine. The role will oversee the operation, service delivery, data management, user and system administration and reporting requirements of the system.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with health services management, department branch staff, Commonwealth health, technology, Microsoft and other stakeholders
  • Oversee business requirements, releases and change requests
  • Manage the CVMS Patch, Release and Upgrade Programme
  • Deal with the escalation of incidents
  • Service delivery program management
  • Oversee project delivery
  • Set the direction for the Dynamics Platform Management
  • Ensure the CVMS Security management framework is appropriate
  • Prioritisation of business investment in CVMS
  • Oversee CVMS policy, procedural documentation and support materials
  • Communication to the DH and cohort user base
  • Data stewardship
  • System Administration and Communications
  • User administration
  • Overee the CVMS Call Centre
  • Vendor contract management
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Team leadership and development
  • Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and for that of others in the workplace
